to Children’s Ministry! My name is Tricia Boyle, Children’s Ministry
Coordinator, serving families in the parish with children, infants through Grade
5. This page provides Children’s Ministry program & volunteer
registration information. Please continue reading for information on programs

This Week's Childrens
Ministry (CM) News
WCFF meets Sundays,
March 7, 14, (WCFF Does not
meet Mar. 21 or 28-Spring Break, April 4-Easter)
Sun., March 7, Breakfast & All Ages Session:
The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a parish breakfast served in the
gathering area followed by a WCFF All Ages session filled with Irish Spirit
(parents and kids stay together today) in the gym. Bring your Faith Bucks to
shop at God’s Country Store and make a Trinity Shamrock at the craft table
from 9:30am -10am in the gym.
Sun., March 14 – Last day to bring food for Gr. 1 project:
Please bring non –perishable canned goods such as tuna, ravioli & chili or
boxes of cereal through March 14th when the students will visit
the Table of Plenty to deliver the food & receive a tour & explanation of
how this ministry serves the Salem community. Thank you for your generous
support & please contact Malinda Kyle, Grade 1 Catechist, with questions
regarding the project.
Save the Date: Vacation Bible School, June 21-25, 9:30am- 12noon at Queen
of Peace Parish!
Mark your calendars & get ready for a High Seas Expedition, Exploring the
Mighty Love of God, our theme for VBS 2010. Watch for details on our first

Prayer for Families
Gracious God, Source of Life,
You have planted the goodness of our
children in the gardens of their
families.
Make that family soil rich in virtues of
faith, hope and charity.
Moisten it with the baptismal waters of
your saving grace, and turn it with the
plow of peace.
Warm it with the radiance of your Son,
Jesus, and sprinkle it with an abundance
of your Holy Spirit.
Pull from it the weeds of greed and
anger, and protect it from the savage
winds of indifference.
Let
our children and their families grow
deep roots of faith in community and
bloom in profusion of your eternal
Kingdom. Amen
