Mission Statement
Queen of Peace is a Catholic
parish school centered in Gospel values and dedicated to the spiritual and
educational development of the whole child.
|
|
History of Our School
Queen of Peace Parish was established in 1963. In 1964 the doors to Queen of
Peace School were opened with two classrooms providing for four grades. One
grade was added each succeeding year, until a full eight-year Catholic
elementary school was in operation of 1968. Currently we offer a curriculum for
Kindergarten through Grade Six. Blanchet Mid-High serves the seventh and eighth
grades.
Fr. Tim Mockaitis became our pastor in July 2006. Our principal,
Debilyn Janota joined Queen of Peace School in 1994. |
Philosophy
Queen of Peace School is a ministry of the Queen of Peace Catholic parish
community that offers an environment that supports the development of all its
members. We are committed to academic excellence in the context of the Church's
educational mission of teaching the Gospel message, building community, and
accepting the responsibility of service towards others.
We value education as a life-long process with its primary roots in the family.
We support the family by providing a strong foundation for the healthy
spiritual, academic, social, physical, cultural, and emotional growth of each
child. |
