Curriculum:

Queen of Peace School curriculum development is the responsibility of the principal and faculty following the approved Archdiocesan guidelines.

Queen of Peach School believes that learning is both a process and a goal. Academic learning in the following areas is of prime importance:

Educational opportunities, as well as instructional excellence, receive major emphasis in each curricular offering. Teaching strategies used include whole group work, cooperative learning, integrated thematic units, hands-on learning, multi-age projects, and real life applications structured to meet the needs, talents and abilities of each learner. Communication skills, teamwork, the use of technology, and problem-solving skills are emphasized to help prepare students for the future.

In addition, Queen of Peace provides guidance and encouragement in the areas of personal, social, and spiritual growth within an atmosphere of Christian community. From this experience, we believe that each child will come to understand how to apply the Catholic value system to his or her way of life.
