Queen of Peace School is excited to offer a Catholic, faith-based pre-Kindergarten program for four and five year olds, beginning in September 2008.

The pre-K program will emphasize the natural development of each child’s academic talents and provide a wonderful opportunity for children to interact with peers while exploring the world around them.

We plan to add a class for 3-year olds in Fall 2009, so stay tuned for more information!

The pre-K curriculum will be theme based and includes a variety of subjects:                                 

The curriculum follows guidelines set by the Department of Catholic Schools and State of Oregon Benchmarks.

Admission: In order to participate in our pre-kindergarten program, children must be four years old by September 1, 2008, and be completely toilet trained.

Class Size: A maximum of eight children per session.

Schedule: Classes will be offered four days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.

2 half-day sessions are available: 8:15am - 11:15am and 12:15pm - 3:15pm.

Staffing: The Pre-K class will be staffed by a Certified Teacher with a background in early childhood education and an Instructional Aide.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition Rates: Pre-K is a 10-month program with the following cost options:

4 half-days per week : $200/month

If you opt to pay the annual tuition of $2,000 in full by August 1, you can receive a 1% discount.

There is an annual (non-refundable) enrollment fee of $150.00.

Limited financial aid is available.
